On 01/03/2018, the ESF-funded project DINO4Energy begins. Robotron GmbH, TU-Dresden and SaxMS GmbH want to create a solution in this project that optimizes the feeding, feeding and storage of energy for energy-intensive companies and energy producers. The aim of the project is to develop an optimization approach to improve the flexibility management of actors in the energy market. On the one hand, this should enable efficient plant control and, on the other hand, ensure profit-maximizing marketing. Both tasks should be fulfilled, taking into account all relevant technical and market-related restrictions. Robotron Datenbank-Software GmbH has many years of experience in the field of energy management and energy marketing as well as in the technologically efficient connection of technical systems, especially in discrete manufacturing. The company has a dedicated unit of data analysis experts for the efficient and effective evaluation of large volumes of data. The Chair of Business Administration, in particular Industrial Management (TU Dresden) has experience in the field of Operations Research and the development of sophisticated algorithms for the optimization of different problems from various practical and scientific projects. As an example, we can name the optimization software “SINA” developed for DB Regio AG for layer planning.
